I loved this book! The setting is in downtown Denver where I used to live. The author had the details so right that it made me feel like I was back home in the city on the Sixteenth Mall. Lots of zany characters and unexpected twists and turns kept me reading until midnight. Cindy is a hoot. The author had me laughing out loud through most of the book. Complete with a tortured hero, a disillusioned heroine and a scamp of a puppy, they make quite the trio. Cindy’s attempt at dating had me in stitches. The poor woman can’t catch a break. Officer Jack Riley was just my type. I wish he existed in real life. This book was a delight.

Fun contemporary romance Cindy Dawson's search for romance is a fun read. The author blends humor and a charming perspective of the singles scene in the big city. Cindy's dating experiences were fresh and imaginatively crafted. From her captivating puppy, Prince, to the escapades with her neighbor, soon to be hero, Jack, the story was full of surprises and was thoroughly enjoyable. It had its serious moments too with Jack's injury and all that followed but the story kept me engaged and entertained from beginning to end. I have read the other books in this series and loved them all, but the humor in this one definitely makes it a favorite. All in all it was a great read!

Denver Undercover Romance These characters take your emotions on a wonderful roller coaster ride through the gambit of laughter, tears and cheers and finally the perfect romance. It's laugh out loud funny and then the author slams you with reality just like in real life. Cindy and Jack struggle to find their balance. Jack is an officer of the law at night and an undercover reporter in the dating scene during his free time. Cindy is a hairstylist who dates a lot of odd guys searching for Mr. Right, but it's all in good fun. She's looking for a man who's capable of being a good husband and father. Her life's desire is to have a family of her own. And Cindy's dog, Prince is absolutely adorable. This is a great story. I highly recommend it.

Good book! I enjoy this author's style of writing. There is always some type of suspense or problem to deal with. In this book one of the main characters got shot and had severe injuries. Even though his tendency was to give up, he overcame. I enjoy the romance and while there is sexual content it is not dirty or overly graphic. My only complaint, if you could call it that, is I wish the couple could have gotten married and the reader would be able to follow them at least a few months into their marriage but still really enjoyed the book.
